George Town Tze Char, founded in 1986, is a family-owned restaurant with a rich history spanning three generations. Our journey began as a humble tze char stall, Kee Hock Seafood, at 165 Bukit Merah Central, established by Goh Thian Lye. Over the years, we’ve expanded our presence with branches in Yishun, Yew Tee, Khatib, Bedok, Senja, Teck Whye, and Toa Payoh, before finally settling in Boat Quay in 2006.Today, the restaurant is led by a father-son team, Charles and Gerrard, who continue the legacy by serving authentic Malaysian stir-fry dishes paired with a selection of 35 different beers. We remain committed to providing quality food and a memorable dining experience for our customers.
